Highly-Skilled Trainers 

​Golden Heart Canine is a family-operated company owned by Becca Murphy and her husband, Michael Murphy. The Murphys are based here in Montrose, and Becca got her start as a dog trainer after graduating with a degree in Psychology she went on to attend Triple Crown Academy in Hutto, Texas (now known as Starmark Academy.) There, in 2008, she met her goal of becoming a Certified Dog Trainer and Behavior Specialist.

​Since that time, she has expanded on her experience and knowledge under various professional dog trainers, as well as running a chapter in a thriving dog rescue for many years. The Murphys have trained hundreds of dogs of numerous breeds, temperaments, and personalities and also compete in agility, competition obedience, and rally obedience.

We are thrilled to partner with ​Golden Heart Canine to offer training services to our very special community. Having personally witnessed how detrimental it is to a dog / owner relationship to lack the communication and bond that training provides, it is very fulfilling to engage with superior trainings who not only make training goals happen, but also to keep dogs in their forever homes, and to hopefully even have some fun along the way! Their beautiful ten-acre farm is a place that dogs and owners alike can get excited about being a part of. 

Details

• Your puppy will know sit, stay, down, come, and leash etiquette
• You will a receive a one-on-one training class at your home
• Trainer will fly and deliver the puppy to you
• You will receive a lifetime of support from trainer and breeder
• Puppy will be spayed or neutered at owner's discretion 

• First you will be able to have first or second choice from an available litter of Bernedoodles
• Your puppy will be fully house-trained and crate-trained
• Your puppy will be obedience-trained.
• Your puppy will be socialized in different situations, and places

​When trained puppies are transitioned to your home, we will provide you with instruction on working with your dog. If you do not live within driving-distance to the trainer, you will receive videos in addition to phone consultation. The puppies will be approximately 6-months old.
